What We Do

We always seek to partner with communities, local authorities and national government entities regardless of party affiliation. We are recognized as a leader in early childhood development, newborn health, child rights governance, child protection and humanitarian response by authorities, both at the central level and locally in the areas where we are currently implementing our programs.

Building on our global and regional experience and successes of applying innovations in livelihoods, rural income generation, and work with women and girls, Save the Children supports families in El Salvador build financial and social assets in some of the poorest municipalities in the country.

The organization has been sought out to provide input into the design and implementation of several policies and national-level programs – most recently the early childhood education policy and the inclusive education policy.
